This book helped pull me out of an enormous reading slump, so it gets bonus points for that alone! 5 stars all the way! Overall, I loved everything about this novel. The story will live on inside my head a lot longer than most, because of how immersed I was in every aspect of it. The author did a phenomenal job of making me taste, see, smell, and experience everything right along with the characters. My favorite part of it all though has to be the setting! It's magical, vibrant, and mesmerizing! I could feel the excitement in the air, hear the music from the carousel, smell the funnel cake and cotton candy, and see the burlesque dancers performing on stage. The sex scenes damn near set my kindle on fire! I will never look at carnival rides the same way again. □□įull of angst, passion, amazing banter, and a connection that pours off the pages, the romance is everything I hoped it would be! Sebastian and Evan's chemistry is off the charts, and the sexual tension between them will have you squirming in your seat. The story is well paced, entertaining, and original, and the secondary characters are endearing and interesting enough for me to cross my fingers that they get their own books.
